Benefits of Chiropractic Care
Chiropractors provide natural, drugless, non-surgical health treatments and rely on the body’s inherent recuperative abilities. Many people are under the misconception that a chiropractic doctor is limited to providing back pain relief or neck pain relief. While most Denver chiropractors focus on neck pain treatment and back pain treatment, Keystone Health & Wellness Center focuses on treatment of the whole body. We take a hands-on approach to your health by adjusting the imbalances in the skeletal system, particularly the spine. Chiropractic care is a noninvasive discipline that sees the body as a system of parts that work together in balance.
Advanced BioStructural Correction™
Keystone Health & Wellness Center providers are Advanced BioStructural Correction™ practitioners. Advanced BioStructural Correction (ABC™) is a huge advance in the natural and nonsurgical correction of the human body structure. ABC™ is the only method of body treatment that results in your body staying upright all by itself with no effort because it is the only method of body treatment that actually corrects your structure. Dr. Jones is serious about helping people using the newest and most effective approach in rapid pain relief and postural correction. He has achieved Advanced Certification in ABC™ including certification in Endo Nasal Technique and will soon be Colorado’s first ABC™ instructor.
What is an ABC™ Approach to Chiropractic Care?
ABC™ is founded on the principle that poor posture, caused by anterior displacement of vertebrae, causes compensatory misalignments that predispose the spinal cord to injury from excessive stretching of the meninges (the membrane that surrounds the brain and spinal cord). Vertebrae get displaced forward and get stuck because there is no muscle to pull them back causing other vertebrae compensate for this by twisting. This is the major problem in the human body and is relieved by a process that helps unlock the meninges.
Advanced BioStructural Correction™ is exactly that, an advance in the ability of any doctor or person to correct life structures. Advanced BioStructural Correction™ can stand behind the claim of consistent and predictable change in structure with treatment and no exercise or traction because only ABC™ consistently works with old people, young people and those in between.
How Is ABC™ Different From Chiropractic Care?
The body is an amazing, self-healing organism. Practitioners of the ABC™ method work with the body’s inherent healing systems to provide natural results. The main difference between the Advanced Biostructural Correction and traditional chiropractic is the direction in which we adjust the bones.
Traditional chiropractic dictates that if there is any interference in how the nervous system is working, the body loses its ability to heal and self-regulate. These interferences, called subluxations, are what traditional chiropractors seek to remove.
During ABC™ adjustments, we do not adjust things that your spine or body can already fix on its own. Fixing those misalignments actually dislodges compensations that your skeleton needs.
With ABC™, only the layer of problems that a patient presents with that day are removed. It’s a very different, comprehensive adjustment technique that addresses the ribs, spine, legs, hips, feet and the covering of the spinal cord, the meninges.
What to Expect
Like other health practitioners, chiropractors follow a standard routine to secure the information we need for diagnosis and treatment. On your first visit, we’ll take your medical history, conduct physical, neurological, and orthopedic examinations, and may order laboratory tests. We have found that X-rays and other diagnostics are important tools because of our emphasis on the spine and its proper function.
We also conduct a postural and spinal analysis because vertebral dysfunction may alter many important body functions by affecting the nervous system and causing a skeletal imbalance, which can cause pain or lower resistance to disease.
The Chiropractic Doctors of Keystone Health & Wellness Center are experts at locating and analyzing improper placement of the vertebrae and correcting subluxations, enabling the body to return to its proper alignment. This is key in correcting the “vertebral subluxation complex,” which can interfere with your body’s normal functioning and long-term health.
The spine and the nerves that connect to it are part of an incredibly complex systems that require years of study to understand. While all doctors receive basic training on the health and care of the musculoskeletal system, they simply aren’t educated on all of the conditions that afflict it and their proper treatments. Surgery or long term use of narcotic pain medications are usually the only two options offered to patients with disorders like sciatica, compressed discs, or chronic pain with no apparent cause. Doctors of chiropractic care specifically focus on the health of the spine and nerves alone. If you’ve sought help from other doctors and received sparse testing or a general lack of interest in your care, visiting our clinic in Denver & Centennial could change your life.
What Is A Chiropractic Adjustment?
The practice of chiropractic care is based around the concept that a healthy spine follows a normal alignment. When the spine becomes misaligned, discs and the nerves around them are easily compressed. Restoring natural alignment often relieves the pain and other symptoms that resisted more conventional treatments. The chiropractor applies a small amount of focused pressure to move vertebrae and to loosen joints that have become frozen in an incorrect position. Once the spine is aligned, it’s easier to access damaged nerves or relieve muscle tension that are also contributing to your discomfort.
What Can Chiropractic Adjustment Do For Me?
If you are struggling with chronic pain, neuropathy symptoms like numbness, or low back pain, the issue may lie with your 24 vertebrae. A series of adjustments at Keystone Health & Wellness Center using our ABC™ approach could restore proper alignment, improve your posture, relieve any number of related symptoms, and restore greater flexibility and range of motion. Many issues that affect the limbs originate in the spine, and therefore respond well to adjustment.
